1) You. I'm Nhama Azani and I'm a second year, advertising major. I'm talented in the art department which includes: photography, sketching, painting, etc. I was a photographer at a night club and a sleep away camp. I'd like to become a logo designer/graphic designer. I see myself working only for myself and selling my logos to companies.
2) What are you offering to customers? I'm offering a novel, creative idea to our media loving society. It will make gift giving more personal and humorous.
3) Who are you offering it to? The demographic would be anywhere from ages 15-35, the target audience that is familiar with bitmoji. Psychographics aren't really limited because many different people have the app on their phones.
4) Why do they care? The value in personalizing or customizing practically any accessory with your own bitmoji makes gift giving more personal and fun. It's a new way to give.
5) What are your core competencies? What sets me apart is that no one has thought to customize through personalized avatars using bitmoji. No just that, but I have a huge range of accessories to customize.
I think these five elements fit and can be used to predict crucial information about whether or not my business will be a lucrative one. I don't have much competition, it's market is big considering anyone and everyone can create their own avatar and customize any accessory, and it's a novel idea for people that don't really know what to give as presents.
Feedback memo:
From my reviews, my feedback consisted of only having a high demographic range. So, I targeted the main users of bitmoji, ages 15-35 instead of 16-50.
Nhama,
ReplyDeleteIt seems like you know what you're talking about, so that's awesome. With your background, you should be able to easily accomplish this task. My only critique is that you're not very clear on what you're actually giving the customer, but otherwise, it's good work.

I agree with the above statement I am confused as to what you are providing? Im vaguely familiar with bitmoji but what you're offering or how you make money is confusing.

Honestly, I have no idea what your idea is. I think the main idea of this exercise is trying to formulate the idea with details and a possible plan of action. How exactly will you use it in gift giving? What exactly are you providing? Check out a complete idea here: http://thedailyschlak.blogspot.com/2016/03/idea-napkin-no-2.html
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming that you're offering a stamp with your art on it? Korea has a similar tool that are custom made like that. If that's what you're making I think the idea is a great one.
ReplyDeleteNhama I understand that you want to sell your designs that company that you want to help companies design and create logos, but I would really like you to be a little bit more specific about how that service would it look exactly. Would you be an in-house type artist or would you work from company to company as a contracted artist for a period of time?
