What stood out to me was the emphasis on the setting. Whether I sat down, or what my background was. I find it quite silly to not record ourselves through webcam. I'm not really sure how else to record myself where it would look as professional.
This time, I tried standing up. It makes it seem like I'm intrigued and not so casual compared to recording myself while sitting. I spoke more articulately and slowly so that I could be understood.

Nhama, even though there are some similar planning applications out there, there still isn't one that is great enough to dominate the market, and for that reason I think you could find a great deal of success with this idea. You identified a very serious need, and as long as the application is easy to use and is pleasing on the eye, you could be on to something big here. Your idea is a very good one. Personally, every semester (except this one, it's my last) I've made a calendar on Microsoft Word with all of my assignments and then printed it and posted it to my door. An app would be much easier and much more interactive.
Your speaking voice was very clear and I had no trouble understanding your product and what you were trying to do with it. I will say, however, you didn't seem very comfortable and it looked like you were reading. You didn't much at all which made the whole thing seem a tad tense. But overall, your pitch was clear.

ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoy your idea. I for one am one of the individuals that struggles with keeping up with homework assignments and exams. I usually put them off until last minute which turns out to be a pain in the ass. Although there are similar ideas on the market, the connection to each individuals eLearning would be a valuable asset. You projected your voice perfectly, next time just act a little more enthused ;)
