Free Money (Week 7)

I thought this exercise was easier than expected. Giving a dollar was awkward but they were willing to take it! Some were weirded out or surprised but still accepted the money.  I didn't except the strangers to take a dollar from a random person but then again, it's free money! 

 I was planning on just walking outside whenever I walked to class. I'd approach anyone who wouldn't/had not noticed me. I thought I'd give away at least three dollars. I thought to get their attention by just mentioning why I'm giving them a free dollar (to make their day).

    Hey Nham, I enjoyed reading your blog post! I wish I could see the videos of people's reactions, though...I wonder why you didn't post them? I'm curious to know if you were able to give away all 5 dollar bills. I'm impressed that you had such an easy time giving away free money! I had a tough time getting anyone to take he dollar bills I was handing out. People are so skeptical these days!

    Hey Nhama,

    I thought you videos were really short. You also didn’t show the audience the faces of the people you approached and their reactions. Also, you didn’t explain their reaction in the bottom of the post underneath the video. I am curious did all the people take the dollar? I also have 2 videos on my blog post as well. Some of the people took the money, and others were skeptical about my intentions.

    You had a unique approach with your videos. The videos were quicker than a lot of the other ones I saw. I think people were my likely to say yes because they felt like they had to make a snap decision. You also approached them head on rather than surprising them from the side. Even though you had the unique approach, the success rates seemed similar in handing out money.

    Cool Nham. I think it was pretty cool how you told everyone it was to make their day. That is a very believable story. I would say for next time, you should probably make the videos longer and not so close up. I big part of this assignment was seeing people's reactions and how you reacted to their reactions. So I would like to see people's faces and your interactions with them in more depth next time. Other than that, good job! Thanks for sharing!
